摘要：Tocontinue the improvement of vehicle safety and occupant protection, NHTSA(National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) of the US has proposed the newcrash test loadcase – oblique test and new THOR dummy in its USNCAP. The newoblique test and dummy have imposed great challenges on vehicle manufactureOEMs for their restraints designs.

In the first seminar of those twoconnected talks, the introduction of the test loadcases and the challenges areto be discussed.  

简介：DrBill Feng, Technical Specialist in vehicle safety and restraints at Jaguar LandRover (JLR). Bill has been working on vehicle safety and occupant protectionfor more than 20 years. He is responsible for safety restraints strategy,occupant protection performance and virtual CAE toolset development in JLR.
