This presentation will introduce the framework of frictionvibration and sound principles with critical engineering applications. It willbe focused on the contemporary methodologies and the systematic strategies todeal with complicated friction vibration and noise problems. It will also briefthe presently pressing challenging problems of friction vibration/dynamics andnoise in US automotive and high tech industries.
简介：
Gang S Chenis the J. Robert Fletcher Associate Professor of Engineering at MarshallUniversity, West Virginia, USA. He received his BS and MS from ShanghaiJiaoTong University, P.R China, and his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University,Singapore. He is ASME Fellow and SAE Fellow. He is the receipt of a dozen of awardsfrom varied organizations including Marshall University 2016 DistinguishedArtists and Scholars Award. He has written over 100 journal papers, 7 bookchapters and 3 books. Gang has had many years’ industry experience as aprincipal engineer and research scientist at DSI Singapore, Sony SingaporeResearch Lab, IBM Corp. Technical Division, California and Gates Corp.Technological Center in Michigan, USA.
