讲座题目：Impact Dynamics and Applications

摘要：Impact dynamics covers a wide range of impact velocities from 100 m/s to 105 m/s, and a wide range of phenomena and applications. This presentation will give a general introduction to the impact dynamics research, background and their applications in a range of engineering disciplines. It involves in structural crashworthiness of automobiles and aircraft, safety of nuclear power plants, defense, space activities and security as well as dynamic behaviors of engineering materials at high strain-rates.
简介：北京大学科学学士及硕士，英国利物浦大学哲学博士及荣誉工程博士（DEng），英国机械工程师协会会士(FIMechE)及注册工程师(CE)。现任英国曼彻斯特大学教授及冲击爆炸实验室主任,北京理工大学国家爆炸科学与技术重点实验室特聘教授。主要从事冲击动力学方面的基础与应用研究，在结构抗冲击动力学，结构抗冲击防护，弹体侵彻穿甲力学，材料高应变率下的动态性能及测试方法，抗冲击吸能结构及材料，结构非线性动力响应等方面取得了一些进展。担任第一届国际结构防护会议(2010)及第七届国际冲击载荷结构会议(2007)主席。担任< <国际防护结构杂志>>，< <防护技术杂志>>等期刊编委，< <国际冲击工程杂志>>副主编。
